Water Conservation Rebates

The LHWD Rebate program has been a great success! Additional funds have been allocated for the rebate program. However, please call (303)530-4200 before making a qualified purchase or submitting your rebate request, to make sure that those limited funds are not exhausted. All requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. The product must be purchased between January 1st and December 10th in the current calendar year.

Program Rules

General Guidelines:

  • The product must be purchased between January 1st and December 10th in the current calendar year.
  • Rebates will be honored until budgeted funds are exhausted in the current calendar year.  Rebate applications must be submitted within 90 days of purchase.
  • The original sales receipt must be attached to your application and include the date of purchase, price, brand name and model number. To keep your original receipt, apply in person and we will make the copies.
  • Product must be for residential use at an address that receives a Left Hand Water District water bill.  Your rebate will be credited to your water bill. Please allow 2-4 weeks for the credit to appear on your bill.

Additional Guidelines for Washers:

  • Residential customers are allowed only one washer credit per household.
  • Limit 1 - 7.5 gallon per cubic foot (pcf) of laundry or less washer per household.
  • The washer must be onqualifying list

Additional Guidelines for Toilets:

  • Toilet rebates are limited to 2 per customer per year or max of 4 per customer total.
  • The new toilet must replace a 3.5 gpf or higher model.

Additional Guidelines for Outdoor Rebates:

  • ET Smart Controller Residential rebate limited to one per household.
  • Residential Wind and Rain Sensors – max of 10 per year per household.
  • Invoices must be itemized.
  • Products must appear on qualifying list.

How To Apply

To qualify for the rebate:

  1. Purchase and install a qualifying fixture or appliance according to program rules.
  2. Return a completed application form and itemized original sales receipt.
  3. Provide proof of US citizenship or legal status in the United States. Complete the Affidavit of Lawful Presence section of the application and attach a photocopy of identification to prove legal residency or have an otherwise lawful presence in the United States.

A Colorado Driver’s License is the preferred form of ID. We also accept:  Passport, U.S. military card or dependent’s identification card, U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Card, Native American Tribal Document, Unexpired Resident Alien card, Permanent Resident card, Temporary Resident card or Employment Authorization card. Please inquire about other forms of ID, including out of state driver’s licenses.
